6 Steps toward an Engaging Presentation

I created the following learning module for the district's Instructional Coaching Institute professional development day. This began as a live session for teaching campus instructional coaches the basics of how to design an engaging staff presentation.

Tools used: Outline - MS Word; Storyboard - Google Slides; Graphics - Corel DRAW; Final development - Storyline 360

Canvas: Introduction to Mimio

Mimio is a device that converts a typical whiteboard into an interactive technology tool. This Canvas training is the first of three self-paced online learning opportunities for teachers to become comfortable with the Mimio. The course utilizes badging which allows for users and administrators to view progress in a course as well as where the participant is in the overall pathway training. This version of the course is housed in my public Canvas account and requires a free account in order to view the instructional modules.

Microsoft Sway: Learn by Doing Series

Learning new technology tools can sometimes be a daunting task. I designed this learning module as part of my Learn by Doing series. This was adapted from a live presentation series I did with Science leaders where they created a Sway following a chunking model of task instructions.
