Professional Learning Videos
These videos provide examples of scripted and storyboarded videos to address specific learning needs. They are available to all teachers through our internal Instructional Technology website.
Stop Motion Animation...one of my favorite topics to teach. This video illustrates how to use the Chromebook app Stop Motion Animator to creatively illustrate ideas and learning.
Google Sites for Digital Notebooking steps educators and students through how to set up their first Google Site and design it for daily notebooking. The idea here is to present technology use within a learning context.
I am the Mimio trainer for the district and this playlist of videos I used with a Canvas course for teachers wanting to learn more about how to use their interactive whiteboard tools.
I created this video at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to explain how to use Microsoft Teams to conduct video conferencing. This was a need designated by our curriculum deparment.
I've created many video tutorials for Canvas, but this one was a request by a high school campus. They were trying to build shareable question banks for quizzes, a feature that doesn't exist within the Canvas software. This video shows a strategy for overcoming this functional deficit.
I am the Zoom trainer for the district and this playlist of videos I used to provide a fast-track training through small chunks of information for using this virtual meeting platform.

Our Canvas account has an LTI called Studio, which is a video creation tool integrated with all teacher courses. We had many requests for using Studio to record instructional videos using district technology tools. I held a live session to address this question and step educators through the process.
Instructional Coaching Institute Videos
Both sample videos below are for our internal Instructional Coaching Institute and are designed to provide informational support to coaches as they learn and facilitate these strategies.
As part of the High Reliability Schools initiative taken by our district leaders, I created this video to help coaches understand one of the 43 instructional elements that define good teaching.
I designed and managed an internal website to support over 200 instructional coaches with coaching strategies to support teacher growth. This is one video I created highlighting one of our coaches in action.
